May 01, 2022

Everything you are learning, must consistently be put into practice!

Psalm 107:1Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

1 Thessalonians 5:18Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

I owe it to God to ALWAYS give thanks to Him.

Revelation 4:11. “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.”

Revelation 5:12. And they sang in a mighty chorus: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered—to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.”

Negative Results

When we are not thankful, then we are not thinking godly .

We become blind to the goodness and power of God.

We must train ourselves to be thankful EVERYDAY.

Positive Results

When we acknowledge that God is good, we see him for who he really is.

We are more open and ready to do His will.

All the circumstances of my life are in God’s hands.

We lose our trust in God because we bring him down to our level.

Jeremiah 2:13“For my people have done two evil things: They have abandoned me— the fountain of living water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all!

Being thankful will bring us closer to God.

When we are thankful, it helps us to become more mature in Christ.
