ABOUT CALVARY ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Calvary Assembly of God is a dynamic church located in Pennsauken, NJ. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is very simple: to love and serve people, to help them know God, teach them to follow God and lead them to serve God. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds, discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

We invite you to come and check us out this weekend by joining us for our Sunday Service at 10AM.

We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome, at home and not like an outsider. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word and lots of friendly people pursuing God together. We have nursery available for infant - 5yrs old and kids church grades 1st - 6th grade .

God made a promise in the Bible that if we seek after Him, we’ll find Him. You are a valued part of God’s creation and His deep desire is to be in a relationship with you. So come and join us as we pursue God together!

Family

At Calvary Assembly of God we value the family and we believe church should be a place for people of all ages. Wednesday Nights we have Prayer gathering at 6pm, Discipleship Essentials at 7PM along with Youth group (7th - 12th grade) Royal Rangers (boys 5-18 years old) and Girls Ministries (3-11 years old)

Leadership

Calvary Assembly of God is currently in a Pastoral and Leadership transition.

We are in the process of pastoral transition. Pastor Dan Astuto served as our pastor for 23 years and retired last June, 2022. Pastor Tony Parenti has been faithfully serving as interim pastor to lead us and help in the transition.
We are now preparing, both prayerfully and practically, for the person that God will bring to us to fulfill this critical calling and biblical role.
We appreciate your prayers!
