“Lord, may the truth we hear and understand today, come ALIVE in our hearts.”

God chooses the channel of the heart to give us the truth about His Son.

John 17:3.And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.

Philippians 3:10. I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death,

1 Corinthians 13:9-12.  Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless. 11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

The better we know God, the better we know ourselves and each other.

The word church is a combination of two Greek words that mean “called out”.                  .

1 Peter 2:9. But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Ephesians 2:12. But now that we are in Christ, we have a Living hope and that encourages us day by day.

1 Peter 1:3-6. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. 6 So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.

Key: God deals with us on the basis of our future, not our past.

John 17:24Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! Because Jesus prayed that prayer, it will be answered.

2 Thessalonians 1:10 When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people—praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about him.and we will be glorified in him.

Colossians 3:4And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

We are made new in Christ but it continues to happen

2 Corinthians 4:16,17. That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

There is no circumstance we go through which cannot be turned to our advantage.

Romans 12:1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

It’s not about us having a strong mind or strong background or strong personality it’s all about resurrection power.

The resurrection power is the strongest power in the universe.

The enemy wants to rob you of this treasure you have in Christ

Let’s stop living with a shortage of God’s power in our personal lives.

Because Jesus is victorious it enables us to face anything.
