Colossians 3

Titus 1:16. Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good.

Wherever God plants the truth, Satan quickly shows up to plant lies. 

 3 Absolutes: 

1. Surrender 

2. Dependence 

3. Trust  

Philippians 1:6. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Romans 6:1-4. Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

My spiritual life has come from God and He is the only one that can maintain it. 

I give up everything so that Christ might be glorified in my life. No halfsies.

But, because we are in Christ 1 Corinthians 12:13, Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. 

Sometimes we only talk about how:

• Christ died for us. 
• Broke the power of sin
• We died with Christ.
• We are dead and we are alive at the same time.

“Life is what you are alive to.” 

Psalm 73:25. Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth.
