“Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge…”  Proverbs 1:7

“Therefore, since God in his mercy has given us this new way, we never give up. We reject all shameful deeds and underhanded methods. We don’t try to trick anyone or distort the word of God. We tell the truth before God, and all who are honest know this. If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing.”

2 Corinthians 4:1-3

“When Judas, who had betrayed him, realized that Jesus had been condemned to die, he was filled with remorse. So he took the thirty pieces of silver back to the leading priests and the elders. “I have sinned,” he declared, “for I have betrayed an innocent man.” “What do we care?” they retorted. “That’s your problem.” Then Judas threw the silver coins down in the Temple and went out and hanged himself.” Matthew 27:3-5

“From then on Jesus began to tell his disciples plainly that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem, and that he would suffer many terrible things at the hands of the elders, the leading priests, and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, but on the third day he would be raised from the dead. But Peter took him aside and began to reprimand him for saying such things. “Heaven forbid, Lord,” he said. “This will never happen to you!” Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” Matthew 16:21-23

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13

“For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3

“Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous. But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God.” 1 John 3:7-9

5 Types of People in 2 Corinthians 5

1. Those who are in the mix of the church, but who are still blind with a “veil”. (People who are in the church, but not saved.)
2. Those with an eternal mindset who LIVE for eternity, not now.
3. Those who twist or distort God’s word for whatever reason.(Could be anyone, not just a “false teacher”.)
4. Those who view God and people how they want to view them, rather with a God given sight.
5. Those who are a new creation and are in the business of reconciliation.
