Greed: “a thirst for having more”
- We are serving whatever controls our thinking and demands our devotion.
At the heart of every problem is the problem of the heart.
So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Colossians 3:5
- Money can make you generous or selfish depending on what’s in your heart.
- All of nature trusts God to meet their needs and so should we.
- If we belong to God then HE has an obligation to care for us.
