Romans 8:29. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

2 Peter 3:9The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

What do you think gets God’s attention?

  • The attitude of my heart.
  • My motivation.
  • To be a witness to this dying world of a POWERFUL GOD

God is concerned about every part of your life.

God wants you believing he wants you to make the right decision.

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the God of peace—who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood—21 may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.

John 15:15. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.

Matthew 7:11. So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

God is extremely concerned about our choices.

We need to meditate on God’s Word. Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

Psalm 119:130. The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.

The Word of God rebukes, it corrects it convicts and it impresses us enough to influence our decisions.

1 John 5:14-15And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. 15 And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

God will make his will known to us in His way, in his timing and according to His plan.

Prayer helps us to sift through the choices.

Be careful….Circumstances can be misleading.

Proverbs 24:12.  Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.” For God understands all hearts, and he sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve.

Proverbs 12:15Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.

Counsel should come from people that you know are mature Christians and have a proven walk of obedience to Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:12And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.
