Our priorities show us who we are.

Matthew 6:21. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

Our priorities shape our lives. In other words, you will get what you what in life.

  • She had Spiritual Perception.
  • Do we have godly perspectives?
  • Are we paying attention to what is really important to God?

Matthew 6:33. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

She got involved.

When you get involved, it always involves a risk.

Matthew 20:26-27. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave.

She was content where she was in life.

1 Timothy 6:6. Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.

  • She had a positive attitude.
  • She wasn’t complaining.
  • She didn’t get bitter.

Ephesians 6:4. Fathers,do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.

Romans 8:28. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Proverbs 31:30. Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.

  • God blessed this faithful woman (by giving her a son)
  • God allowed her to be seriously tested by losing her son.
  • She didn’t let go of the promise.

What’s God’s goal?

  • To grow you in biblical faith.
  • To know his great love and compassion even more (to another level)

Hebrews 11:6And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
